About The Event
Created to mark International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024, Women in Art aims to encourage the discovery of new perspectives, share art, engage in thought-provoking conversations and support the achievements of women artists.
This event marks the start of a programme of events at Aspex Portsmouth and you will be able to see the work of women artists on display in the Learning Space, hear a special acoustic performance from Southsea singer songwriter El Morgan, enjoy a women in music DJ set by Molly Penney from Unmade Radio, all washed down with a signature cocktail from our friends at Southsea Spirit in honour of the event.
Help us celebrate the energy and spirit of this project and create an event our city can be proud of.
