The most important thing we’ve learnt about gratitude is that it has the power to positively change the way we think. We wished that we’d known about it sooner, so it makes complete sense to share what we’ve learnt with those that need it most. The young minds of the future.

Practising gratitude with little ones can improve emotional well-being, develop appreciation and improve happiness in their everyday life. For our young minds, the benefits of gratitude include:

+ Use as a resilience tool to reframe challenging situations

+ Increasing optimism, enthusiasm, positivity and happiness
+ Builds deeper bonds with friends and family
+ Improves sleep as positive thoughts replace overthinking and worry

This is why we’ve created a 45 minute workshop ‘Hello Gratitude’ this interactive session for 7-11-year olds will;

+ Explains the meaning of gratitude and how it shows up in our lives
+ Explains how gratitude highlights what makes us happy and how it can help us when we’re sad
+ What brings us joy and why we should say thank you
+ Time out to reflect of what we’re grateful for

The session comes with a workbook to capture all the key learnings and some colouring in to display at home so a reminder about gratitude is never far away.

Giving back to at the core of what The Grateful Hearts Club is about so, for every workplace workshop we host, we gift this session to someone who needs it. If you work for a charity, school or organisations that would benefit from a workshop, we’d love to hear from you.
