FIND YOUR JOY CHALLENGE

Let me start by saying I've found myself in the darkness many, many times.

 

In so many layers of loss and alone in grief that I've felt utterly lost.

ARE YOU READY TO FIND YOUR JOY?

For someone who has dedicated many years to sharing what they've learned about how to live a grateful life I've felt SO unbelievably far from joy.​​ I've also been lucky enough to feel it so abundantly, it made the depths of my grief mean something.​

 

This challenge was born from this time, from the depths of my losses that started in 2013 and since making space a new grief in 2023 when I started a re-learning phase of gratitude and joy - the tools that once felt so close.

 

This wisdom found me and my hope is that if it helped me, it can help you because what I've realised is, joy is the pathway to gratitude and noticing the small moments is where the magic is.

WEEK ONE THEME: NOTICING 
Our old pal joy is not to be overthought.
Gratitude shouldn’t feel like another thing on our to do list.
If your gratitude journal is covered in a layer of dust underneath your bed I see you. I am you.

The theme of this first week is noticing. What’s going on in your life already that needs bringing into sharper focus? Where are your crumbs of joy hiding?
I want to guide you to see those small moments so they feel bigger.

BTW - World gratitude Day is celebrated each year on 21st September.

I have chosen this date as a nod to this work, all the losses, learnings and my never ending quest to choose joy and gratitude.

Understanding where it shows up allows us to not lose sight of it, especially as the seasons change, life slows down and joy naturally feels less abundant.

You already know joy, you feel joy, you understand how important small joys are and you want to share in some collective joy together.
 
The world is a hard place and we need joy to keep ourselves topped up so we are people who can help those who need it.
